The Samson Society is undergoing a bit of change. 

Here is some information for all future Forge Brotherhood meetings

• Meeting Name: Forge Brotherhood
• Meeting Date/Time: Tuesday evenings at 7pm Mountain, 8pm Central, 9pm Eastern
• Recurring Meeting Link: Email us for the recurring link

• Meeting Name: Forge After Dark
• Meeting Date/Time: Tuesday evenings at 8:30pm Mountain, 9:30pm Central, 10:30pm Eastern
• Recurring Meeting Link: Email us for the recurring link

Please use the recurring meeting link for the Forge Brotherhood meeting from now on! It will now always be the same link!

You can also always access the Google Meetings Calendar to find all of your meetings! The calendar may be the only reliable way to obtain accurate listings for a short time as they undergo the transition: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/embed?src=piratemonkscal@gmail.com

The current Samson Society website, Samson House website, Slack & Google Calendar will eventually be phased out. At this time, I can assure you, the Forge Brotherhood Slack isn't going anywhere. While we all migrate to the new Samson Community app, this Forge Brotherhood Slack community will remain. Jamie and I desired that we would always have connection with our Forge bros if anything ever happened to the Samson Slack.You may have not yet received an email invitation to the new Samson Community app. That’s okay! It’s being sent out in phases. 

Please keep your eyes out for the email to arrive.

Speaking of emails, meeting emails will no longer be sent out. This is due to the migration to the new system. This also includes the Samson Meeting Info channel on Slack as you may have noticed.

The new site does list the meetings that are populating through the "Attend a Meeting" subsection of "Ongoing Meetings" tab. You should get on and look at that. You can RSVP, add meetings to your calendar, bookmark meetings, and more. It'll be so cool to see all your names RSVP'd to Forge Brotherhood in the coming weeks!

For hosting, if one of you is to fill in as a host for the meeting... it is so incredibly easy to host! One of the common hosts can give you the password and run you through a "how-to" very quickly if ever needed.

I encourage EACH of you to start another meeting in your availability if there is not a meeting in a time slot that would be beneficial to you. It's Nate Larkin's heart & desire for a meeting to be available every hour, every day. That means we need YOU to start a meeting, too. Please do if you can. Jamie & I will hop on a Zoom call ANYTIME to help walk you through any questions you may have.Here is the meeting script if you want to see how easy it is (I mean, c'mon guys, I can do it!)

Yes, change is difficult, BUT I ask you all to give a lot of grace to the volunteers and part-timers that are working hard on making this society, group, and recovery ministry the best that it can possibly be. To put it simply, direct brothers with care to the Google Calendar or give them a link in a loving response.
